Radiated Tortoise, Astrochelys radiata
The Radiated Tortoise, Astrochelys radiata, is one of the more attractive tortoises. They are an endangered species, and are native to Madagascar. This species can live well over 100 years. They are herbivores, eating a variety of plants. They can reach between 30 and 40 pounds as adults.
